POEMS

Most of the poems I wrote were done on the spur of the moment. And were created from pure emotion. I used to write several poems every day, just to let go of the anger, grief, or whatever emotion troubled me, or comforted me at the time. If you read them all, you will notice a certain change in me. My poems start out very religious, but gradually become dark. This is probably a good way for people to tell how dark my world was getting at one point in my life. Few people know what all happened during that time, but most have a glimmer of an idea. My religious opinions have changed quit a bit since the first of these poems, but I have decided to include them because they are apart of me. And were an important part of my life at one time. Most of my work would be classified as free verse, though I have written narrative poems, dramatic monologues, pantoums, monody, etc.. I like delving into different, less typical genres. Though I have tried prose on occasion, but its rare. There were a few gaps in my writing, where i went years without even trying. But when the mood hits, I dont deny it.
